Watercolor Study

***SOLD***

This piece represents some of my early work at The Art Institute of Philadelphia. Part of the animation course work was to study the human form to inform our 2d and 3d renderings.
The models did 45 minute poses and we had to do as many pieces as time allowed. After the initial 45 minute pose, the model continued with a series of 20 minute, 10 minute, 5, 2 and 1 minute poses and finished with a series of 20 second poses. We the students were expected to illustrate recognizable forms.
The emphasis was on time management and working quickly.
This is a painting from one of those exercises.
